In the City of Lights, Audrey and Nick become suspects themselves after the drop-off is bungled, and the French police are on the hunt for them. “I don’t want these buffoons involved anymore!,” announces Claudette.Īs Aniston and Sandler are so uncharacteristically charmless and unfunny here while they scream and flail around Paris, we can’t help but agree with her. Sandler jokingly, unbearably calls it “the Arc de Tree Hump?” At the Maharaja’s island wedding, the Spitzes are thrust into another silly murder case. When Colonel Miller (Mark Strong) from MI6 shows up to take over the case, the anonymous kidnapper calls and demands $60 million delivered to the very unassuming Arc de Triomphe in Paris in exchange for their captive. There’s Francisco (Enrique Arce), a former soccer player and lothario who announces, “I have made love to 10,000 women” the bride Claudette, who was forced to sign a suffocating prenup his sister Saira (Kuhoo Verma), who loves attention Countess Sekou (Jodie Turner-Smith, so much better than this) and the colonel (John Kani), who the Maharaja denied a promotion. The Spitzes start clumsily questioning the suspects, each one more boring than the last.

They’re summoned to the luxurious private island of their uber-rich friend from the last movie, the Maharaja (Adeel Akhtar), to attend his wedding to girlfriend Claudette (Mélanie Laurent). This time they’re pros like Hercule Poirot. Nick (Sandler) was an NYPD officer and Audrey (Aniston) was a hairdresser. In the first film, the Spitzes (who, in an early indicator of James Vanderbilt’s script’s level of humor, a pilot calls the Sh-tzes) stumbled into amateur sleuthing like Miss Marple. Rated PG-13 (violence, bloody images, strong language, suggestive material and smoking). It is a very good story line that is diverse and does keep you on your toes.Running time: 89 minutes. With a lot of the negative I do recommend watching. We didn't feel hooked until so late into the story because most of the beginning had not much that really connected to the main story line it was just unneeded things that made the story just longer. I feel like the big miss of this film was when the hook came along. The love story, I think fully it was truly fun and enticing to watch.
The Story: I feel like the story was good for the final 40 minutes. By the end of the movie we hadn't really known what the names were of most of them or even how they were fully connected. The characters: partial add on to the development, this film seemed to use majority of the beginning of the film to indroduce and explain the characters.poorly. Me and my partner were practically begging for a murder to happen by minute 30. The film took it time and we didn't get to see a murder until after an hour had already passed. The development: This was the slowest developing movie.
As a film writer and maker myself I noticed many things that went wrong but also things that were just incredible so let's begin.
